The 44th consecutive season of CSBL summer baseball kicks off on May 26 when the New Lenox Pumas travel to Addison to take on the Braves. This season, each of the CSBL teams will play five games against one another. Each team will also play two games against the Crown Point Corn Dogs and Calumet Beavers for a total of 29 games. The East Chicago Thunder will also compete as an Affiliate Member.
After completion of the regular season, the CSBL will host the NABF Major Division World Series.
On January 22, 2006 the Chicago Suburban Baseball League instituted its Hall of Fame as a way of honoring and remembering those who have made significant contributions to the life and legacy of the league. The first inductee was Jerry O'Grady who gave thirty-one years of service to semi-pro baseball in Chicagoland, including fourteen years in the CSBL Forty years later, the Hall of Fame includes 64 individuals. On Sunday, February 15, 2026, three more individuals were added to the Hall of Fame. Ryan Tuntland (pictured to the right) played third base for the Lombard Orioles (2012-2020) and had a lifetime batting average of .356. He was the CSBL Player of the Year in 2018. During and after his stellar career at Aurora University, Lou Hernandez (center) pitched for the Oswego Cats for 15 years. He is one the best pitchers in the history of the CSBL. Corey Schultz (left) pitched for the Beecher Muskies for fourteen seasons. He is the CSBL all-time leader in appearances and saves. He is a four time winnter of the CSBL Relief Pitcher if the Year award.
