Ian Krol of Nequa Valley High School and a member of the 2009 Lombard Orioles before being drafted in the seventh round by the Oakland Athletics has landed in Washington, D.C. with the Nationals. The left-handed pitcher had a .69 ERA with 29 K's and 7 walks in 27 innings of work in Harrisburg of the Eastern League before being brought up to the big leagues.
