The National Amateur Baseball Federation World Series for the Major or Unlimited Age division took place August 7-11. Twelve teams competed for the title including two teams from the CSBL.
After three games of pool play, both the Lombard Orioles and the Beecher Muskies qualified for the Single Elimination Championship Tournament featuring the top eight teams. The Lombard Orioles advanced to the championship round by going 2-1 in pool play, while the Beecher Muskies went 3-0 to win their pool.
The quarterfinal game between the Lombard Orioles and Brunswick Orioles was a rematch of last year's championship game. This year the team from Brunswick won by a score of 4-3. The Lombard Orioles finished the season with a record of 54-14. They won the Wisconsin State League title as well as their 13th consecutive CSBL North Divsion title. They also had the best overall record in the CSBL
The Beecher Muskies won their quarterfinal game against Brooklyn Sports Fever by a score of 5-3 but lost to the Brunswick Orioles 5-4. The Muskies finished the season with a 37-11 record. They won the CSBL South Division title (their 10th oveall) and finished as runner-up in the annual CSBL Tournament. This year marked their 15th appearance in the NABF World Series. The Muskies won the title in 2010.
The All-Tournament Team included the following Muskies and Orioles: Catcher Rob Marinec (Orioles), First Baseman Zach Bardull (Muskies), Second Baseman Tom Norton (Orioles), Shortstop Matt Lattrell (Muskies), Outfielder Jake Buthuis (Muskies), DH Kevin Mampe (Orioles), Pitcher Brandon DuBois (Muskies), and Pitcher Andrew Bergman (Orioles).
