Pool play is wrapping up in Battle Creek, Michigan.  As of the time of this posting, both the Lombard Orioles and the Beecher Muskies have qualiified for the eight-team single-elimination championship round. The Muskies are 3-0 and the Orioles are 2-1.  The Muskies will face Berea (OH), the 2019 World Series champion. The Addison Braves are playing their third pool game this morning.  The Braves lost their first game 2-1. Mike Rostine pitched a complete game in the loss, giving up but a two-run homer in the first inning. The Braves rebounded to win an extra inning game on a walk-off home run by Alex Perez.  Jarret Hyder threw a complete game in the Brave's 5-4 victory.
